Dancing Speedo

Hello chaps. Anyone ever a problem of dancing speedo? Rev counter always worked fine, but speedo stoped working about 6 months ago, after heavy rain if i remember correctly. Now it intermittently comes back, but all over the place. I could be stationary with engine running, but speedo reads 90 mph, and the mileage goes up accordingly....Anyone else had this? Thanks in advance.

Probably wiring or sensor issue, several reports of this previously but IIRC difficult to trace fault. Try a search of the forums
